Others behind us had about a 5-10 min wait though. We went on a Thursday at 6:15 and were seated straight to a table. Restaurant is decently large with outdoor seating, but apparently there is typically a longer wait for a table on weekends and busier nights like over the summer. If you're a tourist like us, add the Okra Grill to your must-eat list! You won't regret it. Locals apparently frequent this place to much. She was so helpful and considerate helping my family pick out their entrees, and offered taste tasting of sauces too. Our server was very pleasant and personable. My family loved all of their meals which doesn't happen often. Not my favorite style, but overall the dish was good!). (Although heads up.the grits are actually grit cakes. I had the shrimp and grits which I also loved. The pimento cheese was really good too! My family loved the fried tomatoes appetizer. The food was all fresh, and the shrimp is local within 50 miles of the Charleston coast. This place rocks! Prices were the best prices we've seen in all of Charleston for a nice, local restaurant. Page's came highly recommended to us, so we tried it. But like I said I am willing to give it another try next time. I have been a server for many years and understand she was probably very busy, but that's not excuse. She never returned back to the table to see if everything was alright. (No sides or bread.) 19 b Southern Favorites seafood platter - charleston’s best 24 Pan seared lump & sweet blue crab cake, perfectly fried jumbo shrimp, and a crispy fried flounder fillet. Dessert looked great too, but I didn't want to be so full I couldn't move. Page's Seafood Pasta Jumbo grilled shrimp and blue crab tossed in a white wine and garlic butter sauce with spaghetti pasta. I would like to try something else off their menu. I am willing to try it again when we are back down in that area. We have had way better Shrimp and grits at any of these places back in Murrells Inlet. We live in Murrells Inlet, SC and have some amazing seafood restaurants here to choose from. Maybe it sat too long before they brought it out to us. It was lukewarm, fried grit cakes were mushy on the outside, and gravy is not good unless its very hot not boarderline cold. Unfortunately, they did not live up to that. ![]() All three of us ordered the shrimp and grits after reading they were number one in southern living magazine. He said it was good and actually ate it, which he hardly ever eats anything. My youngest son ordered the chicken fingers and house salad. Pimento cheese was amazing! My oldest son ordered the fried flounder which was fresh and battered lightly. We tried the sampler appetizer with pimento cheese, bean and corn salsa and fried green tomatoes. We only waited 25 minutes for a table outside, which was not bad considering they were very busy and prime lunch time. My mom, two sons and fiancee ate here on Saturday before heading to Boone Hall Plantation for the day.
