![]() Tyl is a scientist who works with biology and psychology, his main goal is to stop the biological and psychological deterioration of the Grineer. Equinox theme relates to Tyl's character better since her core theme was based on a psychology archetype, the study of the human minds. If any frame should replace Hydroid as the frame of Earth, it should be Oberon. And the Grineer Sealab map isn't exclusive to Uranus either. In the real world, Earth is the only planet confirmed to have stable oceans, not Uranus. While Hydroid fits the theme of Earth both in real life and in the game much better due to him being an ocean frame. Thematically, Equinox doesn't have anything to do with Earth's theme, aside from having two forms which aren't even themed after day and night in the first place (originally, it was anima and animus). If the drop rate shifts during their respective cycle, it doesn't do anything at all. If you make the parts only drop during its respective cycle, it makes the frame un-farmable for some players. Personally, I often play when it is Earth's night cycle, which is why I stopped farming the silver groove for growing power. Not everyone have the time to play the game at a correct time of the day. It's a time gate mechanic, and we all know how bad that thing is in Warframe. Using Earth's day light cycle to affect a frame's drop rate might actually be a bad idea. Obviously DE has wayyy bigger fish to fry, but this is something I would legitimately jump for joy to see happen. But regardless, although a case could be made that Vay Hek is a bit more annoying of a fight than Tyl Regor, the thematic relevance of both Warframes and both planets as well as the ability to fix Equinox’s diluted drop table by using Earth’s day/night cycle makes me think that swapping them would be overall a very good move. They both have health-gating and other annoying, time-wasting mechanics, and the magnetic procs and specific weak points of Vay Hek are very obnoxious if you can’t one-shot them whenever they’re vulnerable. I tested this and on average I was able to complete the Vay Hek assassination a little bit more quickly than Tyl Regor. In each room he spawns in before that, you can just bullet jump right past him to the next room, there just isn’t a waypoint so you have to find the exit yourself. He just fits Earth's theme and Hek assassination better.Īctually you don’t have to fight Vay Hek at any point of the mission other than his special boss room. ![]() Tyl assassination might be boring, but at least you can do it quickly.īut if we are talking about the theme, I would say that Oberon should replace Hydroid, not Equinox. Hek assassination is fun for the first time, and annoying for the rest. Remember, Equinox farm is way longer than other frames, you will have to fight the same boss again and again. I was lucky to have hydroid after four assassination, because I couldn't bear to play that assassination mission again. Hek's mission can be really damn annoying due to the specific weak points mechanic. Tyl's mission is straight, quick and repetitive, that's good. Then came the problem of replaying the mission. Hek requires you to complete an entire map worth of fight to get to him. Tyl's mission is a lot faster since you can skip all of the rooms and jump straight to him. It's not about the difficulty of the boss fight, it's the length of the mission that matters. (#s "Text"), which will appear as Spoiler: or
